The Durmstrang Institute has stood strong for eight centuries, but the events of the Second Wizarding War in Britain have put the school’s future into question. Once a center for the Dark Arts, with a long tradition of not allowing Muggleborns, the Institute began to lose students to other schools across Europe. But now, a new, young headmaster has chosen to reform the school. Muggleborn students are now not just allowed, but have been invited, transferring from other schools. Some are proud to see Durmstrang become more open. Some are sure that this is the only way to save the school. Yet others are upset about the changes, defending the old policies in the name of tradition. Everyone seems to be taking a side. Will Durmstrang survive?
