Personality
James' personality was somewhat like a boiling pot of emotions mixed together as some sort of twisted experiment. He can unpredictable, or an open book, depending on how much he trusts you. Typically you'll be able to spot his personality in patterns; although this may make him seem quirky, it feels like a little game to him. James will try to put the emotions of others before his own, which often leaves him believing he is isolated in his own world. As an only child, James typically prefers to stay in his dorms, near a cozy fire, some snacks, and a good story to read. On the few occasions that he is feeling adventurous, he likes to roam out and sit by the Black Lake. Occasionally you may be able to spot him messing with younger students around the castle.
History
Being born to a mother as a Witch and a father with Muggle status, James was able to experience both sides of the Wizarding and Muggle world equally. At the age of eight he discovered his magical abilities by enchanting a toy of his to slightly dance, even though the magic wasn't advanced his family was happy to hear the news of his potential acceptance at Hogwarts. He left most of his friends in the Muggle world, finding others around the school more than likely not interested in his childhood endeavors.
